Reaching the Roar Campaign
What started in 2013 with a handful of students has grown into something only God could have done. We believe that our 11th year of Campus Ministry at IU Indianapolis and Purdue in Indianapolis is one where Jesus keeps calling us to take one of our biggest faith steps.
Through a three-year friendship with a property owner in Indianapolis, we have been given the opportunity to campaign in order to buy an amazing house, and an adjacent piece of land, located just north of campus. This property will increase our capacity for Christian student housing, provide space for Bible studies and events, give us our first-ever defined office space, and position us for longevity to help ensure that CSF outlives all of us to reach the next generation of students.

The Campaign
We are overjoyed about the opportunity to purchase this property for Christian Student Fellowship (CSF)! While raising funds to purchase, we will be leasing the property for three years. This opportunity is a blessing that requires an act of faith. There are three cost-associated attributes with this step of faith:
$725,000 – Funds needed to purchase the house and lot located at 1139 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. St. - $447,705.03 left to raise (updated as of 4/24/24)
$225,000 – Funds needed to purchase the entire lot next to the house, running all the way to 11th St (1101 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. St.). - FUNDED!
$50,000 – Funds needed to cover closing costs and any needed repairs on the house. - FUNDED!
TOTAL GOAL: One Million Dollars
Campaign Progress
The Why Behind The Property
1. Housing
(for IUPUI Students)
The nearly 4,000 square foot house, with 5 bedrooms and 3 ½ baths, will accommodate up to seven Christian students who are looking to grow in their faith amidst their college experience at IUPUI.
2. Hosting (Bible Studies and Discipleship)
In a world of uncertainty, it has been our dream to provide consistency for students through a dedicated Bible study space. This house will provide ample space and a welcoming atmosphere for our 10+ small groups to meet weekly.
3. Connecting (Fellowship Events)
This property is located a half-mile from the edge of IUPUI’s campus. This will make it an ideal spot for hosting intentional times for community, such as meals and game nights (good, clean fun).
4. Working (Office Space)
Having a permanent space to complete administrative duties has always been a matter of prayer for us. Having our own four walls to prepare Bible studies and meet with students will be invaluable.
5. Lasting (Longevity)
One of our values as a ministry is to ensure that we leave behind something healthy, sustaining, and life-giving for future generations. Owning this house and the attached land will help bring this desire to fruition.
